Welcome to our Voter Guide!
In short, we invited all candidates for the Amity Board to answer questions relevant to what the Board does. Our goal is to help you, the voter, get to know them better so you can make an informed choice when you vote, whether through early voting (starting October 20th) or on Election Day, November 4th.

Joi Prud’homme (R-endorsed D) - Woodbridge
[Editor’s note - Ms. Prud’homme respectfully declined to respond to the Questionnaire. While we will continue to encourage her to do so, we will provide a link to the LWV Amity questionnaire once it’s available.]
Thank you for your invitation to complete the Amity Allies Voter’s Guide Questionnaire for our upcoming municipal election. I find it so encouraging that groups like yours are working to ensure that every voter has access to transparent, not-partisan information about our candidates before they go place their votes.
As you can imagine, we are busy meeting with ALL Woodbridge residents, getting the word out about our diverse ticket with 4 political affiliations who are working together to find A Common Ground for Woodbridge. I invite you to visit our website to learn more about us and our many upcoming events which you are of course welcome.
Multiple groups like yours have invited us to fill out similar questionnaires including The League of Women Voters of Amity. We plan to participate in their “Meet the Candidates Night at Amity High School” on Thursday, October 16th at 7pm. which I hope Amity Allies can also attend. Rather than fill out multiple questionnaires, we will supply you with our LOWV answers and trust that they will only be used verbatim. Our experience has been that editing, no matter how well intentioned, can alter the meaning of answers and create confusion. I encourage you to check out their guide when it becomes available.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
Best,
Joi Prud’homme
